The Compactor is a machine provided by Flux Machinery that has the purpose of “compacting” items, resulting in a denser form of that item. This machine’s capabilities (speed and energy usage) can be upgraded or downgraded using Flux Chips.
The Compactor has two input slots, and recipes that require a single item can only be used when the recipe item is placed in one slot and the other slot is left empty. This limitation will be fixed in a later update.
Recipes
All recipes for the Compactor use the type flux:compacting. The provided recipes allow players to make diamonds from coal, adding to the player’s available resources and allowing them to craft higher-level items. The ability to compact items also adds an extra layer of automation and efficiency to the player’s resource gathering and item crafting processes.
